There is truly no harmony like family harmony! RiverSide is certainly no exception. Rhonda Frye and RiverSide consists of songwriter, Rhonda Frye, her husband of 23 years- Eric and their 17 year old daughter, Allison.

“Ally” has been singing pretty much before she could talk! She was singing “Amazing Grace” at age 2 and was on the platform singing specials in church with her mother by age 9. Ally received a standing ovation from her peers after performing “Power in the Blood” in front of her middle school student body several years ago and has participated in school talent shows almost every year since. In the last few years, she has participated with her church worship team as well as singing with her family in church or with Rhonda in concert. Allison is a natural at studio recording and has been credited on three albums so far. Ally’s voice sounds much like her mother’s and she sings soprano or alto. Ally is senior and is very active in the her school and youth group. For fun- Ally spends much of her time with her high school dance team where she is the captain of the pom team this year.

Like Ally, Rhonda has been singing since she was a little girl and has paved the way for her family into the gospel music industry. In 2007, the Lord promised Rhonda he would work out the details and give her a family music ministry, but she certainly hasn’t sat still waiting. Since that time, she has sang as a soloist integrating her family during her performances. In 2009, she released her first solo album of all originals and has released 2 songs to National Radio. During the 2011 Elijah Conference with Allison Durham Speer, she began to realize the time had finally come to move forward in this direction. Rhonda is the Worship and Children’s Pastor at Rock Pointe Church and teaches “Mini-Music”- a preschool music/movement program. In July 2011, Rhonda accepted the position as Editor in Chief for SGNScoops.com- all digital magazine, home of the Diamond Awards.

Eric is the picture perfect family man with a heart of gold for people! Eric’s sense of humor leaves everyone slapping their knees, and as Allison Durham Speer recently said: “His smile lights up the room.” Although Eric is new to the music scene, God has been preparing him for the last few years. Eric has been the back-bone of Rhonda’s solo ministry from the beginning and has been serving faithfully in the music ministry at Rock Pointe Church. Eric has a rich, bold and smooth voice, sings lead or tenor and is a natural performer on stage. Eric serves on the Church Council, Finance Committee, helps in Children’s Ministries at church and works in the field of fire safety at a major Power Company.

With tight family blended harmony combined with love for one another, RiverSide’s performances are electric. The Fryes know how to worship their Lord, can communicate with excellence and also love to have a good time together. Most of all, Rhonda Frye & RiverSide truly desires to see people experience a real relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Music is simply a tool to point people to Christ. It is their desire to use every gift and talent for the building of God’s Kingdom and the edification of the saints.
