Mini Music

Rhonda Frye, Children’s & Worship Pastor of Rock Pointe Church, has worked with children in the field of Early Childhood Education for the last 20 years. Being that music was a vital part of her classroom, in the fall of 2008, Rhonda launched “Mini Music Ministries.” She began working with several preschools and daycare centers in the Ringgold/Chattanooga area providing a Christian based, age appropriate program for infants- pre-K and elementary aged children. In addition to weekly music/movement classes, she offers assistance with holiday or graduation programs, performances and events.

“Ms Rhonda” keeps the children interested and engaged by alternating activities. A typical weekly class may include singing, rhythm instruments, dance, parachute, ribbon/scarf activities, books, flannel stories, puppets and more. On special occasions, she may invite a guest musician to visit the classrooms or she may demonstrate various instruments herself- keyboard, flute and accordion. She uses a wide variety of music selections exposing the children to different cultural styles.

“Ms. Rhonda” is prepared and available to minister to children through music in a variety of settings such as Preschool, Daycare, Sunday School, Children’s Church or Special Children’s Events. “Ms Rhonda” truly loves children and values each one as a gift from God.
